boats + bubbles

…second only to my favorite combo of boats and bubbly. This space transports me. I love the muraled wall, especially in the monochromatic blue. It’s a great idea with great impact. It creates a sense of space – even if you don’t have any. The bathtub is made by the London-based firm Drummonds who puts a contemporary spin on the freestanding tub, finishing them with shiny, bright hues – Mrs. Peacock is the color shown here, and The Clyde is the tub.
Not to be missed are The Usk, The Torridge, The Tay, and The Nith.

rest day – soft and serene

In the master bathroom of this farmhouse in Tuscany designer Paola Navone uses serene blues, terracotta tiles, and rustic copper fittings to lend a soothing atmosphere and a sense of well-being and timelessness.
