makin’ it – this room, that daybed

makin' it - this room, that daybed

While there is so much that is so good here, the blue daybed popping from the neutral tones, textures, and shapes really pops here. It is such an interesting space – perfect for a glass of wine and a good book.

Clash Act - Natalie Cerulean Wallpaper + Miroire Sorciere

do you love it or hate it?

And just like that, with this + that, a new blog series is launched. Introducing my new series – clash act – where I’ll be picking two objects of home decor and putting them together, for better or worse.

Wallpaper from abc carpet and home, mirror from bakelita via 1st Dibs.

boats + bubbles

…second only to my favorite combo of boats and bubbly. This space transports me. I love the muraled wall, especially in the monochromatic blue. It’s a great idea with great impact. It creates a sense of space – even if you don’t have any. The bathtub is made by the London-based firm Drummonds who puts a contemporary spin on the freestanding tub, finishing them with shiny, bright hues – Mrs. Peacock is the color shown here, and The Clyde is the tub.
Not to be missed are The Usk, The Torridge, The Tay, and The Nith.
